Why not study history at UoN?

Just got your A level results? Still not decided where you want to go in September? Or maybe you’re super organised and are looking ahead to autumn 2021. We would love to welcome you at Northampton, where our small (but perfectly formed, in our opinion!) department means you get lots of personal attention from lecturers and the chance to make lifelong friendships. You can study history all the way from 1200 to the nearly-present day, studying themes as diverse as witchcraft, crime, country houses, military intelligence and fascism. Whatever your interests, our dynamic team can meet them. And we’ll help you get ready for the future, too, with our excellent modules focused on employability and of course the University of Northampton’s Changemaker scheme.

Watch the video above to hear a little bit about what we can offer you. Then call our clearing hotline, visit our virtual open day on 15 August, check us out on twitter, and read more about our course. We know this year in particular might seem like a scary time to start university, so don’t hesitate to reach out to us and let us reassure you. We’re excited to meet you.
