Our new MA programme is an innovative learning experience, where you can develop your knowledge and understanding of History across a range of periods whilst learning online. Both full and part-time options are available.
This postgraduate course is designed to those who wish to expand their historical knowledge and their research skills whilst learning more about different periods, regions and theoretical approaches to History.
The modules and teaching are research-led, shaped by the tutors’ work into new areas of History and approaches to historical study. By studying particular topics and approaches in depth, you are encouraged to think not only about the diversity of the past, but also how History itself is constructed.
Most importantly, you will have the opportunity to undertake your own independent research into a topic of your chosen to an advanced level, supported by tutors.
